eBay Payment Options and Policy To make payment easy for everyone we have set up a few options and have a payment policy in place. Here you can also find out about insurance and Payment FAQs. PayPal can accept payment in USD, Australian Dollars, Pound Sterling, Euro Dollar, Yen and Canadian Dollar as well as e-check. PayPal accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and eCheck. Australian dollars can also be paid via money orders and direct debit transfer. Money orders and checks paid in non-Australian dollars, eg. US dollars, need to include a small fee to cover the fee Australian bank's charge for converting foreign currencies - see Payment Policy for more details. I am looking into banking facilities that mean I can avoid this fee but at the current rate it could take a while. But stay tuned and email me any questions. Other Ways of Payment If any of the above payment options does not suit you, please email your questions and we'll see what we can do. Insurance is available for all items. The standard insurance value is $AU100.00 (to the value of one hundred Australian dollars) and is only $US4.50 or £3.50. All parcels sent within Australia use Registered Post and are covered for $A100 loss of goods. This is part of the standard Registered Post cost and is not additional. For additional insurance coverage please email for a quote (and I'll go to the Post Office and find out). If you choose not to have insurance then you accept full liability for the items. That is, if they are lost in transit there will be not refunds or replacing of items. We strongly recommend the use of insurance. Questions about Shipping? Click here. Question: PayPal won't let me pay in anything but US dollars (USD) and I want to pay in a different currency. How do I do this? Answer: If you access PayPal directly from the link on the auction listing it will only let you pay in USD. To pay in a different currency click the Log In link in the top right corner of the page and log on using your User ID and Password. Then you should be able to pay in a different currency. I have set up my PayPal account to accept the full range of currencies PayPal handles. More questions? Check out our eBay FAQ. PayPal Pay me securely with any major credit card through PayPal! email: info@creativelybelle.com PayPal accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and eCheck. The payment policy is quite simple and straight forward. PayPal and Insurance Payments PayPal standard shipping is for postage only. Insurance for the goods is an additional amount. If goods are lot in transit they can only be replaced if insurance has been paid. If you choose not to have insurance then you accept full liability for the items. That is, if they are lost in transit there will be not refunds or replacing of items. We strongly recommend the use of insurance. Money Orders and Checks For items being paid for by money order or check in a non-Australia dollar currency, eg. US dollars, an additional fee will be charged to cover the Australian bank's fee for converting foreign currencies. My bank currently charges me $AU8.00 for the 'privilege' of converting currencies. I am shopping around for an alternative and will keep this policy current based on results. Items are shipped once funds have cleared. For Australian cheques drawn on Australian banks this is usually 3 - 5 days (depending on the bank). For foreign currency cheques (those not in Aussie dollar, nor drawn on an Australia bank) it can take up to 3 weeks for funds to clear (!!) because the clearing house is in another country. It takes roughly a week for the check to reach me, 3 weeks to clear, 1 week to ship items to you = 5 weeks to get your goodies. I strongly recommend not paying with a foreign check because of this time delay. The good news is I accept PayPal eChecks! Info Required for Checks/Cheques When paying with a check/cheque please include the following information on the back of it:
This will make processing of the check much easier and quicker. Combining Winning Bid Items We are happy to combine winning bid listings that finish within a week of each other. Do make sure you tell us about this so they can be shipped together. It is also possible to add items from the website to eBay auction items. The earring stands are very popular with this. Exchanging USD into AUD If you would like to pay in Australian dollars (AUD) via direct debit then I can convert the US dollars (USD) amount of auctions. PayPal now accepts Aussie dollar so if you have a PayPal account you can pay in either USD or AUD via it. I use the official exchange rates published by the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) shown on their website - www.rba.gov.au - as I believe it the most fair and appropriate exchange rate to use - it is the one shown on the evening news. If you would like to pay in Australian dollars then the conversion rate applied is the Reserve Bank of Australia's Official Rate and not eBay's. If this does not suit, you are most welcome to pay in US dollars via PayPal and I'll happily set up a PayPal invoice for you. If you have questions about this, please do email me and I'll happily discuss it with you. Links to More Info
