How do I register with PayPal? It only takes a minute to sign-up with PayPal. Simply click the link below and follow the instructions - basically use the secure service to add your email address, credit card details, name and address and you're all sorted! Click here to register with PayPal today! PayPal is owned by eBay. It was bought by eBay in 2002 and since then PayPal services and email response has improved significantly. I've chosen PayPal for online shopping because it is the easiest, most cost effective and fastest way to set up online shopping on my site. I checked out the Australian banks with online merchant services (ability to accept credit card payments) and although I already have such an account I was going to be required to set up a new one with a new set of fees but a new lot of expensive fees - basically my Australian bank was just too expensive to start with. So I'm giving PayPal a go and prices are in Australian dollars. Are there fees associated with PayPal? Yes, PayPal does charge fees but that is for the sellers - so for each payment I receive I pay PayPal a small fee. Buyers are not charged fees by PayPal for their shopping. The donation facility available for the business tip articles is simply a way of showing support for the time and care taken for the writing and publishing of the articles.
