An Intro to PayPal

PayPal is an online payment service. Payments can be sent and received simply by having an email address, credit card or bank account.

PayPal accepts Six (6) currencies:

1. Australian dollars
2. US dollars
3. Canadian dollars
4. UK Pounds
5. EU Euro
6. Japanese Yen

PayPal accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and eCheck.

Why PayPal?

I've chosen PayPal for online shopping because it is the easiest, most cost effective and fastest way to set up online shopping on my site.

I checked out the Australian banks with online merchant services (ability to accept credit card payments) and although I already have such an account I was going to be required to set up a new one with a new set of fees but a new lot of expensive fees - basically my Australian bank was just too expensive to start with. So I'm giving PayPal a go and prices are in Australian dollars.
