Like many people I’m disgusted in the behaviour of a few idiots here in Sydney at the moment and like many others I’m going to be doing my bit to make a difference through the Power of Good rather than the weakness of violence.
So I’m going to do Random Acts of Kindness each day. If I drive over the Bridge I’m going to pay for the car behind me, I’m going to help others where I can, let people in the traffic and smile at them, I’m going to pull funny faces at toddlers to make them laugh, I’m going to compliment others on what they are wearing, I’m going to send a card to my local police station saying thank you for your efforts and I’m going to do it all with a smile in my heart. 🙂
Bugger the bastards who want to cause harm. I don’t give a single iota what race or creed they pretend to associate with because no one wants to lay claim to them. We don’t want violent, nasty, small minded, small hearted, racist failures to be active in our community. We want peaceful, kind, friendly, big-hearted, open minded, welcoming people to be active in our community.
Sydney is a sparkling, charming, happy, kind, beautiful city and it is not going to be taken over by a tiny minority of violent twits. I’m not going to stop it through violence, I’m going to stop it by doing Random Acts of Kindness and I call on all of us to beat violence with kindness.
There are more good people in the world than bad people so stand up and be counted Good People! Remeber; bad things happen when good people stay quiet. 🙂
So get out there and smile to another and welcome the smile back.
Get out to the shops of the beaches that were closed down on the weekend and spend money with them – remember they are small businesses supporting families over Christmas.
Be part of Positive Change by doing Random Acts of Kindness each and every day! 🙂
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to each and everyone. May 2006 bring many smiles to your heart by doing Random Acts of Kindness.
Best Wishes and Kind Regards,
