One of the things that helps make great necklaces, earrings or brooches/pins is the quality of the components.
I’ve been staggered by the quality of the current range of costume jewellery available in the shops – poorly made plastic things that SHOUT CRAP!
When having affordable quality costume jewellery is so readily available. It isn’t usually massed producted, usually made by independent designers creating beautiful designs with quality components.
So make the choice to have quality in your daily life – don’t accept cheap and nasty components – instead celebrate light and life with what you have. 🙂

boy do I agree with you on that! it bugs me SOOOO much that there are people who are willing to purchase sub-standard mass produced jewelery when there are affordable alternatives!
