Hey there,
This week I read “March” by Geraldine Brooks and was once again lulled into the melody of her writing that brings such joy. I loved “The Year of Wonders” and was so looking forward to settling down on the lounge with “March”.
“March” is the story of the Little Women’s father for the year he is away from them during the Civil War.
The novel was awarded the 2006 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and you can easily see why when you’re absorbed into the story. If you love a good read, being swept along with the melody of the writing then get hold of this captivating novel and indulge in a well told story.
